Editorial policy
Clear Fashion Journal aims to make fashion topics accurate, understandable and independent of commercial pressure. We explain the basis and limits of our wording, and make meaningful changes visible to readers.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual claims against appropriate sources and distinguish established information from interpretation. We avoid unsupported claims about materials, garment performance or fashion history. If a topic is uncertain or contested, we make that uncertainty clear and do not present a personal preference as a universal rule.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for relevance to readers, not because a brand or partner requests coverage. A commercial relationship does not guarantee an article, a favourable view or a particular conclusion.
Corrections
We take reported errors seriously. When a material factual error is confirmed, we correct the affected text and clarify the change where it matters to readers. Use the Contact page to tell us what appears inaccurate and include enough detail for us to review it.
Partnerships and illustrations
Sponsored material and partner placements are clearly labelled so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial content. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, they are identified as illustrative rather than documentary images.
